Plot:

IT'S A CHRISTMAS FULL OF SURPRISES FOR SARA MATTHEWS WHOM AFTER ENDURING ANEMOTIONAL TURBULENCE THIS YEAR, SHE UNEXPECTEDLY RECEIVES ROMANTIC ADVANCES
FROM THE LEAD SINGER OF A ROCK BAND WHO ARE IN TOWN FOR THEIR NATION WIDE TOUR. AND ALONG THE WAY, EACH WILL DISCOVER SOMETHING THEY HADN'T KNOWN THEY WERE LOOKING FOR - A SECOND SHOT AT LOVE AND FAMILY.

 

 

Sara Matthews – Main character, heroine. Mother to soon to be three year old Chloe McCormick. She’s the spitting image of her father which, for Sara, is always a close reminder that her late fiancé Aiden McCormick who is a casualty of war was no longer there to see his little girl grow up. She’s a single mother who works to support her and her daughter whose world revolves around Chloe.

Dylan Patton – Main character, hero. He first meets Sara in a bar but doesn’t tell her his real name. Instead he uses his middle name Jesse which is what he sometimes goes by when he wants to remain anonymous. He’s the front man of rock band “Enigmatic Boys” and sparks fly the instant he laid eyes on Sara. She is unlike any other girl he’s gone out with. His attraction to Sara is soon tested through the tiny mind of her daughter Chloe whom he begins to develop a bond with in a father and child kind of way, making him realise there’s more to girls than hooking up for a good time.

Serena Ballard – Secondary character, heroine’s best friend. Sara and Serena have been best friends since grade school. They’ve grown up together and been through everything together like first dances, first kisses, first crushes, prom, graduation and recently, Aiden’s death. Serena is the kind of friend who is always there for Sara no matter what. She simply wants to see her best friend happy and contented in life and while she’s the life of the party, out to have a good time whose only obsession is boys, she hopes to have what she saw Sara had with Aiden and now Dylan.

Chloe McCormick – Sara’s energetic three year old daughter. She inherited her father’s looks and her mother’s personality. When Dylan enters the picture hoping for a chance to get to know Sara, Chloe sees Dylan as someone who could be her new daddy because he is nice to her. She doesn’t fully understand as to why her real father is not there. She was only a baby when he deployed to Iraq  and eventually died on his tour of duty and doesn’t remember him though Sara points him out to her through photographs.

Travis Martinez – Dylan’s fellow band mate. He’s the guitarist.

Matt Garner – Another of Dylan’s band mates and friend. He’s a wise soul and is often found giving his friend advice on the things that matter most like girls and love.

Aiden McCormick – Sara’s late fiancé, Chloe’s father. He succumbed to being a casualty of war, eventually becoming a war hero. He enlisted soon after graduating high school and although Sara wasn’t pleased to know her long term boyfriend whom she had been dating since high school was in the army, she knew it was something he had been considering for some time. Aiden had proposed to her just before his first tour of duty and they were planning to wed once he returned but a few weeks after he had deployed, Sara discovered she was pregnant and when Aiden returned home, they decided they would wait to get married until after Chloe was born. After the birth, Aiden deployed one more time and was killed in action.
